Ohio Profile
Ohio is a great example of a Midwestern state. The people are friendly and down to earth, the land is fertile, and all of the seasons are pronounced, from spring flowers, to warm summer days, to colorful fall foliage, to winter snows. The terrain is mostly flat with well-constructed highways, making it easy to travel around and experience all that Ohio has to offer, including two of America’s defining cities, Cincinnati and Cleveland. Cincinnati highlights include the Cincinnati Art Museum, the Taft Museum, and the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens. Cleveland highlights include the Great Lakes Science Center, the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, a hit for young and old alike. Both cities offer an array of tantalizing restaurants and exciting nightlife you’d expect to find in thriving American cities. Ohio is also a sports fan’s dream, particularly if you’re a Cleveland or Cincinnati fan. Major League teams include the Cincinnati Reds and Cleveland Indians baseball, Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns football, Cleveland Cavaliers basketball, and of course, the Columbus Blue Jackets hockey team. There’s also fun for the entire family at Cedar Point Amusement Park and the Kalahari Indoor Water Park, both in Sandusky. And that’s not all. Ohio also has over 300 miles of coastline thanks to the border it shares with Lake Erie, one of the nation’s Great Lakes. This gives visitors access to recreational activities such as fishing, swimming, boating, and waterskiing, just to name a few. Current Temperature:
